Dublin Cross-Country Championships
Maria McCambridge, now based in Letterkenny, regained the women’s senior title at the Dublin Cross-Country Championships in Sat Ann’s Park after leading from the start. In the men’s race, Tallaght’s Sean
Connolly took a decisive lead on the final lap after the lead had changed hands several times. Mick Clohisey of host club Raheny Shamrocks finished second. Rathfarnham WSAF won the men’s team title for the first time in their history. Junior winners were Tekea Gebrezgi of Celtic DCH and DSD’s Emmett Jennings.
