A very successful McDonalds Little Athletics evening took place with the Macamores in Wexford recently.

The newly formed club is based in Ballygarrett, Co Wexford and is using Little Athletics to help develop and grow the club. The sessions follow the Fundamental stage of the LTAD model with the focus on fun games developing Agility, Balance and Co Ordination. Club coach Evelyn Murphy has been delighted with the response to date. The club is having lots of the local school children attend their sessions on a weekly basis. The parents and local teachers have been very supportive and the kids seem to be enjoying themselves. These are the essential ingredients to building something sustainable.
