Queen’s 5k Race Around The River
Queen’s 5k Race Around The River , hosted by Queen’s Athletics Club will this year take place on Wednesday 31st March at 7pm. Last year’s race saw record numbers of participants and the addition of chip timing and this year is set to be even bigger with continued support from Powerade and Queen’s Sport. This year sees Gotto sports in association with Asics coming on board to sponsor additional prizes for race winners as well as give out spot prizes for those coming over the finish line!
This event has established itself as one of the best 5k races in the country, popular with the elite athlete through to the recreational runner. We are delighted this year to be named as an official warm up race for the Deep River Rock Belfast City Marathon and hope that this will encourage all those getting involved in the marathon to come out and run Queen’s 5k.
