Leevale Athletic Club officially launched their Fit4Life group this week in association with Athletics Ireland and the Cork Sports Partnership. On the launch night over 25 people registered showing the popularity of the Fit4Life concept. In June, Cork will be holding the Cork City Marathon & Relay and many members of the group will use this as a possible goal to aim for. Also in September the Cork County Board run the hugely successful Ladies Mini Marathon and no doubt many of the Fit4Life group will take part in this. Group leader Liam Horgan was delighted with the launch night and believes the group will go from strength to strength.
