After about three months of very cold weather we had our first day of Spring in Morton Stadium on Saturday with beautiful warm sunshine for our Leinster/Dublin Regional Squad Day for March.

91 athletes from all over the province came together for excellent coaching from 12 coaches who worked hard at the sprints, middle distance, jumps and throws. Many of the young athletes were sharping up for their appearance at the National Indoors in Nenagh next week-end or are preparing for the track and field season which is just around the corner. We would like to thank all those who attended, the coaches who helped and those who brought such a large group to Santry on Saturday. We have organized one more Squad Day for Saturday 17th April IN TULLAMORE from 10.45am to 2pm
