Brian Gregan of Clonliffe Harriers has won the 400m at a meet in Salamanca, Spain running 45.91 to improve on his personal best of 45.96 that he set last year at the Word University Games in China. This is Gregan’s first race out after illness delayed his start to the season, it is also well inside the Athletics Ireland A standard for the European Track and Field Championships of 46.20 and edges closer to the Olympic standard of 45.30.
