The Irish 24 Hours Championships are taking place this weekend 6th and 7th July at the Sportsplex in Bangor, Co Down. This is in conjunction with the Energia 24 Hour Race which is the only 24 hour race in Ireland.
John O’Regan (Le Cheile AC) is the defending champion. John covered over 132 miles last year and will hope to surpass that distance on this occasion. He will have a battle on his hands as the national record holder over the distance, Eoin Keith, is also in the field. This promises to be a great battle.
