Paul Robinson (St Coca’s AC) finished fourth in the 1500m at the Savo Games in Finland on Sunday the 8th of July. Robinson ran a new personal best of 3.37.91 which improved on his previous best of 3.39.87, which he set in Sweden only a few days previous.
Ciara Mageean (UCD AC) was competing in the same meet and finished third in the women’s 1500m with a time of 4.14.91. Mageean will be disappointed with the run as the race represented her last chance at achieving the elusive Olympic A Standard of 4.06.00
