The lists below show the athletes that have been selected to attend the National Youth/Junior sprints squad on September 2nd 2012 at Santry stadium, Dublin. ALL athletes must let Hayley Harrison know via text (087 3724151) OR e-mail (Hayley.harrison@coachingireland.com) whether they are able to attend OR not, leaving their name, mobile number and e-mail address.
Squads will meet at 10.30 a.m. - please bring a packed lunch.
The morning session will be an information session (including a description & demonstration of the push-pass method of baton exchange) plus a short session on the track with drills & strides, nothing more as many of will be on an end of season break.
The afternoon session will be for the youth & junior sprint relay squads & an attempt made to keep together in the hope of getting teams in the youth & junior major championships in the coming years. The relay squad members are not permanently fixed and it is possible for athletes to be added to the current lists, especially from other event groups.
