Location

Banna Beach is located just 10 miles from Tralee town in County Kerry.

From Tralee one takes the road in the direction of Ardfert and Ballyheigue.

On arrival at Ardfert Village one takes the road towards Ballyheigue.

One mile down this road there is a left turn for Banna Strand. The Banna Beach Resort is located 500 meters on the left on this road. Follow the road for 1 km past the hotel and you will reach the beach car park.

Can all clubs please make sure that all athletes who have achieved the above criteria for the squad are notified about the squad day and please encourage them and their personal coaches to attend. I look forward to meeting all the squad members in Banna.

The full Munster Track & Field Squad for the 2012/2013 season will be using a similiar format to last year with some changes. Full details will be with all clubs in October. Being selected for the Cross-Country session on the 29th of September does not mean an athlete is on the T&F squad for the year, this is a special cross-country squad day with another XC day planned for November.
