Finn Valley got the track and field 2013 season off the ground oce again at a floodlit meeting at their track Wednesday evening and miracle of miracles the weather was pleasant . 12 clubs accepted the invitation to attend namely Liffford ,Armagh, City Of Derry, Sliabh League, St Cecilias , Omagh, Letterkenny, Rosses ,Cranford ,Finn Valley, Milford and Olympian ,Derry. Event disciplines covered Walk, 60m, 600m 800m 400m high jump,l ong jump and shot with 224 athletes checking in . The outstanding performances came from brothers James 14 56m 3.25kg and John Kelly 17.40m 5kg in the shot . A big thank you to Valley officials who completed the varied programme in less than 2 hrs .
