Next Friday, 22nd February, Bandon AC man Liam Fleming will launch his new book on the history of athletics in Cork from 1873 to 2012. This will be a fantastic reference for anyone interested in athletics or even just the history of Cork in that time. A considerable effort has gone into the book and all athletics enthusiasts are invited to attend.
The launch is being held in the Munster Arms Hotel and the book “Cork Champions, Past and Present (A brief sporting and political history of Cork Athletics)” will be officially launched by Olympian Robert Heffernan.
