The First ever Juvenile pole vault coaching course took place in Shercock on Saturday 18th April 2009 with a strong attendance of twenty-three coaches from Cavan, Monaghan and further afield.
The course was an introduction to pole vault run by national event co-ordinator David Doherty who introduced the basics of pole vaulting to an enthusiastic group of Level one and senior coaches along with a group of fifteen athletes.
The second part of this course will take place in four weeks time at the same venue. Date to be announced.
