Irish Team For World Junior Championships Announced

Athletics Ireland are pleased to announce the Irish team for the
forthcoming IAAF World Junior Championships taking place in Grosetto, Italy
from July 12-18th.

The men's team is lead by Meath's Colin Costello who was a double silver
medallist in last years European Youth Olympic Games, while the World Youth
silver medallist Ann Loughnane from Loughrea leads the women's team.

The team is historic in the fact that it sees an Irish women's team
represented in the 4x100m relay for the first time.
