Gary Murray and Jolene Byrne Take National Cross Country Titles

Gary Murray of St. Malachy's and Jolene Byrne of Donore Harriers took the senior titles at this year's National Cross Country Championships in Santry on Saturday. It was a first taste of victory at this level for both runners and secured their places on the Irish Team for next month's World Cross Country Championships in France. Danny Darcy (S.L.O.T.) took the junior men's title while Rose-Anne Galligan (Newbridge) was the junior women's champion. Full report to follow.
