AAI Clubs Safety Statement 2017

The Finance and Risk committee has approved a Safety Statement for all AAI clubs to adopt as appropriate. This is a comprehensive document that sets out the duties and responsibilities of committees, describes what a safe club is and provides advice on hazard identification and control measures. A number of safety policies are included in the appendixes for clubs to adopt as appropriate. Athletics Ireland suggests that this plan be reviewed by clubs and its adoption minuted by the management committee in due course.
