Irish Cross Country Teams Dominate at Celtic International

Irish teams emerged victorious in 5 of the team competitions at the weekend's Celtic CC International in Cardiff.

Gary Murray was the top performer in the Senior Men's 9km when he took 2nd behind England's Peter Riley. The Finn Valley club man, who is hoping to compete in the European 10,000m Challenge in April was followed by Paul McNamara in 9th place.

Jolene Byrne also put in a gritty perfomance in finishing in 2nd place in the women's 6km behind England's Haley Yelling.
