'The Female Triad' is a syndrome where three interrelated conditions exist:
1. Inadequate energy intake, which may or may not be associated with an eating disorder.
2. Menstrual irregularities/ amenorrhea
3. Low bone mass/osteoporosis

The Female Triad Syndrome is very commonly presented in female endurance athletes, where leanness and low body mass are synonymous with our sport.

Having:
1. Optimal nutrition to meet training requirements
2. Good hormone health
3. The correct training regime

  Are all ESSENTIAL

This is a workshop for all female endurance athletes/parents/coaches not to be missed. Come along, be informed and it could be the difference in you maximising your athletic potential.
