Galligan Third at Iberoamericano

 

Rose Anne Gilligan finished third in the 800m at the Iberoamericano Huelva meet in Spain last night running 2.04.05, she lead at the bell going through in 59.02. The race was won by Sanne Vertegen of Netherlands in 2.01.43. Maria Mc Cambridge recorded a season best of 15:51.55 in the 5000m moving her to second in the Irish Rankings list while finishing tenth. Also competing was Tom Cotter who finished 14th in the 3000m steeplechase running 8:50.45.

 

 

Mark English will be jetting off to the Diamond League Meeting in New York to run in the Men’s 800m competing against World and Olympic Champion David Rudisha (Kenya). Click the link below for more information and the startlist for the race.
