The 2016 GloHealth Indoor Season kicked into action last weekend (January 16/17) in the AIT International Arena, Athlone. The season will incorporate twelve days of national competitions encompassing seven championships over the next three months. The pinnacle of the domestic season will be the GloHealth Senior Indoor Championships scheduled for the 27th and 28th of February. This will be an excellent opportunity in Olympic year to see some of Ireland’s top athletes in action on their road to Rio. Some of them will also be looking to qualify for the World Indoor Athletics Championships in Oregon, March 17th-20th.
