International XC Opportunities for Junior/U23 Athletes

Athletics Ireland is pleased to announce some international cross country opportunities for Junior/u23 athletes in January. The endurance coaching team recognises the importance of cross country in the development of endurance athletes and the importance of international competition exposure for junior & u23 athletes before they experience the high performance environment at the

European & World Cross Country Championships. Athletes in the u16/u17/u18/u19 age groups (2015 ages) will have the opportunity of selection along with athletes born 1996/1995/1994 for the U23 category.

The key international competitions are as follows:

- January 9th Celtic International Cross Country Championships, Edinburgh Scotland 

- January 16th Antrim International Cross Country Championship, Greenmount Campus Antrim
