Joanna Duignan RIP


It is with great sadness that Athletics Ireland has learned of the untimely passing of Joanna Duignan of Carrrick-on-Shannon AC. 

Joanna won numerous medals at national level and represented Ireland at the SIAB Schools' Track & Field International in 2013. Joanna was part of the 4x300m team that finished third.    

We would like to convey our deepest sympathy to Joanna's family, friends and club mates. 

Funeral Arrangements:

Reposing at her home at Gortinee, Aughamore, Carrick-on-Shannon today (Tuesday, May 2) from 7pm until 10pm and tomorrow (Wednesday, May 3) from 4pm until 10pm. House private at all other times.

Funeral Mass on Thursday at 11am in St. Mary’s Church, Annaduff followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
St. Mary’s Church in Annaduff is situated on the N4 Dublin to Sligo road about 11 Km from Carrick-on-Shannon on the way to Dublin. Google Maps link to Annaduff Church HERE
