Job Title: Digital Marketing and Administrative Intern Position

Job Description

Athletics Ireland is seeking an Intern to become part of the marketing team reporting to the Marketing Manager. It would be ideal opportunity for a graduate or a job bridge applicant. The Digital Marketing and Administrative Executive intern position will focus on the primarily on the recreational running and Fit4life digital communications. This includes content management for the website, social media and activation of email marketing. The person will also be responsible for general marketing administration duties.

Responsibilities

  • Website: Work with a content management system to regularly update and edit website content.
  • Social Media: Keep all recreational running social media channels up-to-date with continuous new, appropriate, relevant and engaging content.
  • Email Marketing: Work with the Marketing Manager on email marketing campaigns: email program strategy, creative email content / messaging development, campaign execution, analytics, and reporting.
  • Digital Marketing Campaigns: Activate digital campaigns for specific events including Google Adwords campaign, Display advertising, social media and email marketing
  • Administration: Deal with general marketing administration.

 

The ideal candidate

  • Third level degree in Marketing, Communications or Digital Marketing.
  • Genuine interest and a solid understanding of social media
  • An excellent communicator with strong writing skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
  • Strong multi-tasking ability and ability to meet deadlines
  • Have an interest in running
  • Open to Job bridge applicants (Please note this in not a paid position)
