Ireland set for SIAB Schools International in Falkirk

POSTED:

Schools international set for Falkirk

The SIAB Schools International is set for Callendar Park in Falkirk tomorrow (March 19th).

The squad flies out today with Ireland's best schools' athletes looking to make their mark against England, Scotland and Wales.

England are the powerhouses of this event but Ireland have some strong teams including the Intermediate girls' team which counts Sarah Healy (Holy Child Killiney) and Amy Rose Farrell (Mount Anville) among its ranks. Louis O'Loughlin (Moyle Park) dominated the junior boys' race in Sligo and will look to keep his top form going in Scotland.

This year there are also two senior teams competing which are headed by Eimear Fitzpatrick (Our Ladies Terenure) and Craigh McMeechan (Bangor Grammar). See full teams below.
