2014 Galway Senior Track & Field

The 2014 Galway County Senior Track and Field Championships will take place on the dates below. The venue is the Regional Sports Centre track in Dangan , NUI Galway grounds.

Day 1

• Sunday 29 June 1.30pm onwards
• 200m, Long Jump, Shot Putt, Discus
• 800m, Weight for Distance (only Seniors and Masters), 4×100m relay.
• 3000m Women / 5000m men

Day 2

• Thursday 10 July from 7pm
• 100m, 400m, Triple Jump, Javelin, Hammer, 1500m,
• High Jump, 4×400m relay

10,000m on Thursday June 12th in Dangan at 7pm. Pre entries for this to ensure numbers.

County Championship medal Categories – Senior, Masters 35, Masters 50, Junior,

Entries on the day - €5 for day/event (i.e. 5 euro means you can run one or all events on one day)

All track events will be electronically timed.

Guest athletes are very welcome from other athletics clubs, but dont qualify for Galway medals.

Entries taken on the day at Dangan Track.
