Athletics Awarded over €3.25M in Sports Capital Programme Allocations 2022

Over €3.25m of Sports Capital Programme funding has been allocated across 87 athletics projects, with additional funding also being awarded via multi-sport funding.

Some notable allocations include €300,000 to Longford AC for an upgrade of the Indoor Athletics Centre of Excellence. Bandon AC have been awarded €290,000 for an Outdoor 6/8 lane athletics track & field facility, while Nenagh Olympic AC will receive €248,851 for an Outdoor Walking/ Running Track (Multi Use Area).
