Coach Education Workshop Series - Supporting athletes with fuelling for performance and health

In collaboration with Sport Ireland Institute and Bodywhys- The Eating Disorders Association of Ireland, Athletics Ireland will host a series of online interactive workshops. Problems resulting from under fuelling and eating disorders have long been a significant challenge for our Sport. The workshops will aim to guide how coaches can help to reduce and respond to challenges in this area. Workshops will take place through Zoom webinars and will include input from experts from a range of fields from nutrition, physiotherapy to psychology.

  • 8pm 8th March- Recognising and responding to the challenges of REDs- Jessie Barr, Julianne Ryan, Dr Danielle Logue (Sport Ireland Institute): Register HERE
  • 8pm 22nd March- Let’s talk about problematic eating behaviour in sport- Dr Siobhain McArdle. Register HERE
  • 8pm 12th April-The Athlete perspective(with Jess Piasecki) and a panel discussion on the role of the coach. Register HERE
