European Championships Marathon and 35km Race Walk Selections

Athletics Ireland has completed the first round of selections for the 2022 European Athletics Championships which focussed on Marathon and 35km Race Walk events.  To date, six athletes are eligible for selection in these events having attained A standards during the qualifying period. 

Further selections will likely be made to 35km Race Walk and Marathon in July to include athletes qualifying by rank, in the case of 35km Walk, and any additional selections to the Marathon team, as this event includes the European Marathon Team Cup.
