Ireland Women’s Team win Bronze at the Anglo Celtic Plate 100K in Perth, Scotland

A strong team of four women and five men represented Ireland in the 2022 Anglo Celtic Plate.

First home for Ireland was Padraig Mullins from St Finbar’s AC in Cork running well inside the International B standard with a new personal best of 7:12:45.

Patricia McLoughlin from Le Cheile AC was the first finisher for the Women’s Team helping secure a podium position with a Team Bronze. 

On the day seven of the nine athletes ran a personal best and for most of the Team it was their first time competing internationally.

The Anglo Celtic Plate 100K Home International plays an important role in developing athletes for future opportunities at European and World Championships.
