AAI Announce Championship Standards & Carding Criteria for 2007

2007 will be hectic year for Athletics Ireland with athletes in action from youth to senior in a host of major championships throughout the year, beginning with the European Indoor Championships in Birmingham and including the European Youth Olympic Festival, World Youth Championships, the European U23 Championships, European Junior Championships, World Championships in Osaka and the World University Games. Relevant standards for the above events can be found here: AAI Standards Document 2007 Standards for the Youth and Junior Achievers Panels, a programme which was successfully launched in 2006 has been expanded to include a Junior Achievers in 2007. Standards can be found here: Youth and Junior Achievers Standards 2007 Carding criteria for 2007 are the same as 2006 with one minor alteration. Athletes who are U23 in 2007 should achieve the World University Games Standard in order to be carded in the development category in 2007.
