Athletics Ireland have announced a new partnership with The Tuition Centre which will focus on Athletics Ireland’s Performance Pathway Programme athletes.
The Tuition Centre will provide on demand Maths Grinds (The Maths Tutor) free to all pathway athletes, from 1st year to Leaving Cert. The Tuition Centre offers live online grinds, revision courses and pre-recorded grinds.
Commenting on the launch of the partnership, an Athletics Ireland representative said: “Our Performance Pathway Programme not only offers athletics development support, but also supports outside of sport. Athletes learn vital skills that they can take forward in every area of life including communication skills, team work and leadership. This new partnership with The Tuition Centre is another service we are delighted to offer our athletes”.
Dan Sheedy, Principal of The Tuition Centre said “We are delighted to partner with Athletics Ireland as part of our #TeamUp programme. With the increasing demands on parents’ and students’ time, no player should have to choose between sport and study.”
About The Tuition Centre
The world-altering impact of COVID-19 was the catalyst for creating The Tuition Centre. As schools and learning centres closed their doors on March 12th, 2020, Bandon Tuition Centre swiftly transformed, transitioning to the online world as The Tuition Centre. This transformation was driven by a team of brilliant past pupils, many now excelling in universities and the IT industry. Quickly, they constructed a robust online platform that rivalled the best in the country.
The Tuition Centre aim to deliver unparalleled online grinds to young people as they embark on their preparation for the State exams in Ireland and beyond. Their weekly online grinds for Leaving Cert and Junior Cycle are delivered live by a team of experienced teachers who know how to get the best results in your State Exams. All grinds and courses are recorded, giving you the opportunity to rewatch them as often as you need.
