Athletics Ireland would like to extend its deepest Sympathies to the Blair family on the passing of Cameron after a tragic incident last night.
Cameron was a member of Bandon Athletic Club for a number of years which saw him win medals at West Cork, County, Munster and National level. In 2017 he helped the men's team to a 2nd place finish at the National league promoting them to Premier.
Bandon Athletics Club, of which Cameron was a member, said in a statement this morning: "He will be sorely missed by all who knew him. Ar dheis De go raibh a anam".
