A reource for coaching the javelin to young athletes from Dan Kennedy Dan Kennedy, the National event co-ordinator for the throwing events has produced a useful resource for teachers and coaches on introducing the Javelin. This handout has tips on drills and some of the basic techniques of the event. This is aimed at athletes of the Junior cycle school age.
