The European Athletic Association has confirmed the 12th.July next as the date for Cork's EAA Outdoor Permit Meeting. At the recent European Congress & Calendar Conference in Malta the venues and dates for all EAA Permit Meetings were confirmed. The 57th.Cork City Sports will be held on the second Saturday in July ensuring that it does not clash with major international fixtures or with the IAAF World Athletics Tour Programme. The organising Committee are especially pleased to have again been chosen as the only EAA Outdoor Permit Meeting to be staged in Ireland. Cork is also the country's only Euro Meeting.
