Paul Hession produced one of the finest performances ever by an Irish sprinter when running 20.56 (+1.0) for the 200m in Malmo, Sweden tonight. Paul was 4th in a close race which was won by Australian Patrick Johnson. What made the feat the more impressive was that he finished within 1/10th of a second of European silver medalist Johan Wissman. Paul Brizzel's Irish Record of 20.54 now looks very much in danger with Hession seemingly improving in every race. David Gillick finished 2nd in the Men's 400m in a time of 46.22.
