New National Indoor Record for Nadia Power

Nadia Power stormed to a new personal best in Vienna this evening, and in doing so broke the National Indoor 800m record.

Power came home in second place behind Kelly Hodgkinson with a stunning 2.02.44.

Vienna was also witness to an impressive performance from Ciara Neville who ran a 7.30 (PB) which is the joint second fastest 60m ever by an Irishwoman.

Ciara's Emerald AC clubmate Sarah Lavin was also in fine form in her season opener, posting a PB of 8.24 in the 60mH at the Vienna meet.

Dean Adams tied for 7th place in the 60m, clocking 6.85 seconds, while Marcus Lawler was 11th having posted a time of 6.88.
