Do you know someone who deserves a People of the Year Award?
We are looking for everyday heroes living in your community – your family, friends, and work colleagues – those ordinary people who have done extraordinary things over the last year. It can be someone who has shown outstanding bravery or someone who has gone above and beyond the call of duty. It’s the person who puts everyone ahead of themselves and their selfless work keeps a family, a cause or a community going. Of any age, from any walk of life and any part of Ireland, they must have one thing in common – they must have done something extraordinary!
This is your chance to ensure that they get the recognition that they truly deserve.
This year’s 40th annual People of the Year Awards event, organised by Rehab and broadcast live on RTÉ One television, takes place on Saturday 6th December at the Citywest Hotel, Dublin.
Nominated by you, these are the People’s Awards that each year celebrate ordinary people who inspire a nation. In addition to a number of People of the Year Awards, specific awards are presented to the:
- Young Person of the Year (under 25 years)
- Community Group of the Year
- Sports Person of the Year
- International Person of the Year
