Athletes and coaches benefited from another successful weekend at the Munster, Leinster and Dublin’s regional squads this weekend.

152 athletes and many coaches enjoyed the winter sunshine in Morton Stadium, Dublin as the regional coaches took the athletes through their paces where as down in Cork at the Munster squad athletes and coaches had to contend with atrocious weather conditions with pouring rain and driving wind as the 73 athletes enjoyed an informative talk from Irish internationalist Thomas Chamney who then went onto coach the middle distance group. All events were covered over the weekend in both squads with all athletes going through a thorough warm up then conditioning work and as much technical work as conditions would allow.
