It was very much a case of down to work at the national throws squad gathering in Tullamore on Sunday last December 6th. All four throws events were catered for with a mix of throwing, testing and strength and conditioning. This is the last national throws squad meeting for this year. Athletes on the squad would have had the opportunity to participate on four squad days since September in addition to a number of throws clinics held nationally. Squad days will resume in the New Year.
