Level 1 Coaching Course at Irishtown Stadium, Dublin

Venue: Irishtown Stadium, Dublin.

Dates & Time: Attendance on all dates required.
Friday 22nd Jan (6pm - 10pm) & Saturday 23rd (9.00am - 5pm) and Friday 12th Feb (6pm - 10pm) & Saturday 13th Feb (9.00am - 5pm)

Level 1 Coaching Course content includes:

* Developing the techniques of running, jumping, walking and throwing
* Understanding the effects of puberty
* Planning and conducting a training session incorporating run, jump, walk and throw
* Developing a sense of fairplay, discipline, confidence, concentration
* Developing the sport specific running, jumping and throwing skills fundamental

Assessment/ Qualification: The Level 1 Coaching badge is awarded on the basis of

* Sample training session
* Observed Practice
* Oral assessment
