Mageean and Junior Team Arrive Home with a Silver Medal
Ciara Mageean and the Irish Junior team received a warm welcome home from Canada at Dublin Airport this morning. Mageean had a smile stretching from ear to ear as family, friends and official welcomed her home. Mageean’s astonishing silver medal performance in Canada this will certainly go down as one of the greatest major championships performance by any Irish Athlete. The silver medal is Ireland’s 2nd ever at World Junior level. Congratulation Ciara, you done your parish, county and country proud.
Team Management were very happy with the performance of all athletes and expressed delight with the level of team spirit among team members and staff.
