Athletics Ireland is delighted with the number of requests from clubs and counties to host the Athletics Ireland/Irish Sports Council basic awareness Code of Ethics Course. Requests for courses remain strong throughout the country. Kieron Stout & Moira Aston have had a busy six months since the initiative was launched and the feedback from courses has been very positive. This is a great opportunity for club volunteers to evaluate their policies and procedures and to share ideas. The certification from the course covers volunteers for involvement in all sports. Over 500 volunteers have completed the courses to date, with further courses in June planned for Tullamore Harriers A.C. and West Muskerry A.C.
