The AAI Games in Nenagh on Sunday will provide a guide to the Irish selectors for early-season international competition. Following the Games the selectors will nominate athletes for meetings in Budapest (January 26th), Bratislava (January 28th), Vienna (January 30th) and Cardiff (February 3rd). The latter involves a team comprising junior and senior athletes across a full range of disciplines. The selectors will only select athletes who have achieved an acceptable standard; hence all events may not be filled. Athletes who are unable to participate in Nenagh and interested in being considered for selection should contact the Performance Manager Elaine Fitzgerald at performance@athleticsireland.ie Entries for the AAI Games are still being accepted at the AAI Office.
