Athletics Ireland to have 50 Fit4Life Meet n Train Groups

Following on the success of the first phase of the Fit4Life Meet n Train programme, Athletics Ireland is delighted to announce a further 22 groups that will join the scheme, making a total of 50 Fit4Life Meet n Train groups that will be supported by Athletics Ireland when the programme launches again in September. The Fit4Life Meet n Train programme aims to build on the recreational section of athletics clubs by encouraging recreational runners to join clubs and enjoy appropriate and sociable training sessions. The programme is part funded by the Irish Sports Council under their Women in Sport initiative, and operated by athletics clubs and volunteers on the ground with the support of their local RDOs.
