This year’s Autumn Open Cross Country Festival in association with Fingal County Council will take place at the National Sports Campus, Abbotstown on Sunday 22nd October 2017. This event will give athletes the perfect opportunity to kick start their 2017 cross country season, showcasing their form ahead of the Irish Life Health National Cross Country Championships in November & the European Cross Country Championships in December. Last year showed athletes compete from Britain, Poland and Belgium and this year’s festival will again include international athletes. This event is open to non-Athletics Ireland members and aims to encourage those that take to the roads every weekend to come along and try a different style of racing on the country. This is a great opportunity for Irish Life Health Fit4Life members and road racers to give cross country running a go!
