Dublin Graded Meetings Start On April 11th

Athletes from all over the country are welcome to the eight meet series Dublin’s Boards graded meeting series are scheduled to start on Wednesday April 11th. at Morton Stadium. This annual series attracts athletes from all over the country providing everyone with a suitable level of competition from the club to international athlete. This year there will be eight meetings providing the full range of events in both track and field. The concept of Development Races which were pioneered in the graded meetings some years ago will be further expanded this year. Jim Davis who has a very successful record in this area will co-ordinate the middle and distance events with National Coach Paddy Fay looking after the sprints. In co-operation with Director of Coaching Gary Ryan it is hoped to re-introduce Coaching Clinics into the field events. This was a very popular feature as expert coaching was at hand with video playback.
