Final details below to take note of:
Location
We will be based in the main building (where canteen situated) at Athlone IT on Saturday, see map here and here.
Registration
When you arrive participants are asked to go direct to the main Lecture Theatre B1029 where you can register between 8.45am-9.15am. Please make sure you do this and give your name to the people at registration. Only those registered for the event and on our master list will be allowed entry to the Lecture Theatre, please do not invite or arrive with anybody else as they will be turned away. We are oversubscribed and there are no further places available. We would very much appreciate your support on this and avoid any potential embarrassing situations for anyone being turned away.
Rooms
We will be located in the following rooms:
B1029- Main Lecture Theatre (Daragh Sheridan/Joe O Connor/Alan Rankin/Chris Jones)
B2091- Joe Ryan
B2093- Richard Rodgers
B2082- Steve Macklin
Punctuality
It is of paramount importance that all those attending arrive on time in the morning for registration and are punctual to all presentations. We must respect those presenting and having people arrive late into rooms is very disruptive. Please be seated 5 mins before the start time of each presentation in the correct room. Again we appreciate your support with this.
What to Bring
Coaches can wear anything they wish and may want to bring a pen & paper with them for any notes they wish to take.
Food/Drink
There will be tea/coffee/biscuits served outside the breakout rooms during the day and at lunch people can go to the main canteen where we have arranged for food to be served. This must be paid for by each individual themselves.
Accommodation
Anybody looking for accommodation for the Friday night we recommend the Creggan Court Hotel located just up the road from the college.
Parking
Members of the public visiting AIT for education or recreational purposes are advised to use the underground car park situated underneath the AIT International Arena. This is within 100m of the main building. The cost of this is €3 per day per car, payable at the entrance barrier. Clamping is employed by AIT in the main campus areas. Your car will be clamped if it does not have a valid ticket or pass.
