Ireland will have two representatives in the forthcoming European 100K Championships (yes two marathon plus a bit! ) in Belgium on the 16th June. Michael Collins who recently won the North Pole Marathon and also beat the great Abel Anton and some other top Spaniards in the Sahara half marathon will be expecting a high level performance and perhaps a new Irish record. Thomas Maguire who won the Connemara Ultramarathon for the past two years is also expected to do well. It is the first time for both athletes to compete over the daunting distance.
