The Board of Athletics Ireland seek expressions of interest from women suitably qualified and experienced in one or more of the following areas; audit, risk, finance, compliance or health and safety.
The Finance and Risk Committee is a Principal Committee of Athletics Ireland and serves an important role in the oversight of the organisation.
A strategic goal of Athletics Ireland is to have increased the gender balance on all our national committees to a minimum 40% of each gender; and have broadened diversity on national committees by 2024.
Committee members would be expected to give a time commitment of approximately five hours per month (including committee preparation, meeting and committee meeting time) and the Committee Terms of Reference can be found on the following link https://www.athleticsireland.ie/downloads/other/Finance_and_Risk_Committee_TOR_24_Feb_2020_Approved.pdf
Individuals interested in this opportunity are asked to send an expression of interest with a brief biography (no more than one page) to the CEO of Athletics Ireland hamishadams@athleticsireland.ie by Sunday 6th June 2021.
