Gillian O'Sullivan, world silver medallist for the 20K walk in Paris 2003, made a tentative step back to competition in the Isle of Man on Sunday and can be well pleased with the outcome. Gillian's performance over the 10K walk was 46mins 28 secs. Gillian suffered no adverse reaction to the race and can now look forward to consolidating on that performance before the end of the year. Injury and illness had kept Gillian out of competition for the past two and a half years.
